Spa Days
ABOUT YOU SPA DAY - Through the eyes of one of our guests;
"Having made our reservation with the central booking line, we made sure we arrived early to make full use of the Spa and Health Club. Towels and robes were provided, and thankfully we remembered to bring our swimwear and flip flops to take advantage of the pool and workout clothes for the gym. These came in handy also after my Leighton Denny Pristine Pedicure. It is worth remembering to come without polish on as this wastes time too.
Tom was on hand to give us a royal tour of the Spa and Health Club facilities before we started our Spa Day. We began with a lovely cappuccino and then it was off to try one of the relaxing classes. I chose Pilates whilst my friend did Yoga - it was great!! We then tried the gym, whilst not regulars we had fun trying out the machines and found them so easy to use. We felt completeley at ease, surrounded by people who were enjoying the same experience. Onto our favourite bits, the spa pool*, the sauna, the steam room and the pool - it was great to relax by the pool while my friend swam too many lengths to count.
From the extensive menu we chose a Panini and a jacket potato (too many fillings to choose from), both were delicious. We followed this with freshly squeezed orange juice which we both found very refreshing.**
Finally we had our spa treatments in the spa. We handed in our vouchers and the medical questionnaire (which we had already printed off and completed prior to our arrival to save us some more time). The staff were extremely welcoming and supremely professional. We loved the ambience in the treatment rooms and the treatments were fantastic, especially the massage - in fact we loved the Elemis products so much that we bought some!!
A great spa day out, where else can you have spa treatments, take a Yoga or Pilates class and take a dip in the pool too. We also saw some great offers and so we'll be back."
